Spanish premiere of Yagüe’s Die Welt bringt alles hervor
At the end of September, I was invited in Burgos to lecture on my maestro, Alejandro Yagüe. I talked extensively upon his electronic music piece, entitled Die Welt bringt alles hevor. He composed this piece between 1979 and 1982 in Köln, during his years of studies on electronic music there.
The day after, I produced a whole concert within the Burgos Cathedral. In the concert various choirs from the city participated. The piece received, after fifty years of its composition, its Spanish premiere, including its full panoply of electronic and lighting means. You can inspect the details of the concert through its program here.
What makes this piece so special is that perhaps it represents a milestone in the history of electronic music. In order to realize that, Yagüe invented a control system which tried to allocate the choreography of sounds into a space in an accurate way through a quadraphonic system.
