The DK <projection> in Munich
November 17th, 2016 Esquirlas/vacío for piano solo and electronics performed by Marco Riccelli will be premiered in Germany at the FERNOST – FERWEST Concert Series in Munich (DE). It will be presented new pieces, performed by Ensemble BlauerReiter and conducted by Armando Merino, in one of the most fantastic venues of this German city: the Nymphenburg Schloss (Nymphenburg Palace) in Munich.
This concert explores the cultural relationship between China and Spain, taking part at the concert the Chinese composers Liao Lin-Ni and Wei-Chieh Lin, and the Spanish composers Álvaro Martínez León and Ángel Arranz. Esquirlas/vacío is written for piano solo with the accompaniment of a 8-channel live electronic part, performed by the composer himself. The pieces is based on the proportions of Bodegas Protos, a building designed by the reknowned architect Richard Rogers.
The day before, November 16yh, 2016 the four composers will present their works at the Karl Amadeus Hartmann Gesellschaft (Hartmann Society) as an introduction of the concert. Hartmann was one of the most influential German composers of last century, also the founder of Musica Viva Festival, occurring in Munich since 1945.
